Drawing on more than two decades of in-house and developer-led expertise, Russell WBHO has the experience to deliver the whole spectrum of residential builds, from high rise city centre schemes, to one-off executive builds, to cost-effective social housing.

Working closely with our developer clients, we are involved with residential-led regeneration programmes across the UK, including those in Kent for Peel Land & Property, Liverpool and Manchester for Artisan Investments, and in Manchester for Property Alliance Group.

Notable schemes in the sector include the high-end, multi-award winning Axis Tower – recognised with an LABC award for quality following recommendation from Manchester City Council – the £85m 31-storey Oxygen Towers, Chatham Waters, The Loom and Manhattan.

Residential specifics

Russell WBHO has developed an enviable reputation for delivering quality builds at any price point, from ultra-luxury city centre apartments with in-house spas and concierge services, to cost-effective suburban social housing.

The popularity of city centre living makes high-rise and tight-site development an attractive option for developers, a specialism we have developed over the last decade. This sector is expected to remain strong as Manchester City Council strives to achieve its 32,000 new homes before 2025.

It’s also seen the growth of residential-led regeneration such as the new life breathed into the Ancoats area of Manchester with projects like The Cube and The Mews which we delivered for Manchester Ship Canal Developments, The Loom at Vulcan Mill for Artisan Investments, and LPC Living’s Radclyffe Park in Salford.

“The main contractor has produced a distinctive and eye-catching land mark in Manchester City Centre, the finished project is of a very high standard with exceptional workmanship and is a credit to Russells, Jon Matthews Architects, and their client Property Alliance Group.”
