The Challenge

Renovation of a Grade II-listed Victorian building in Manchester’s King Street, adding 31,000 sq. ft. of new Grade A office space to the local market. Set over three floors around an internal light well with roof top terrace, the office development is in the heart of Manchester’s upmarket shopping and restaurant district.

The refurbishment involved the creation of a contemporary but flexible interior space and the installation of state-of-the-art amenities and services within a heritage building.

Description of Works:

  • Clean existing facade
  • Window repairs
  • Masonry repairs
  • Conversion and major internal
  • Fit out of an existing office into Grade A office space
  • Two new elevations including structural works
  • Conversion of basement into underground car park with car-lift refurbishment
  • All new M & E Installation
