The Challenge

Construction of a 28,000 sq ft new build leisure facility, forming part of the wider redevelopment of the Cleveleys seafront. Designed to attract families, developer Property Alliance Group secured two pre-lets prior to construction of the dual wing leisure complex and stand-alone restaurant unit, for a Vue multi-screen cinema and Pizza Hut.

The construction involved piled foundations, suspended ground floor slab, steel frame and deep surface water attenuation drainage system, due to the seafront location.

Following the letting of the second unit to Sub Zero ice rink, Russell WBHO completed the fit out of the new facility with stadium seating installation of a mezzanine floor.
