The Challenge

Russell WBHO undertook the construction of a new Asda superstore in Broadheath, Altrincham. Having completed the enabling works, including the demolition of an existing warehouse, the contractor built the new store which totals just over 70,000 sq ft.

The £6.4m contract included associated external works such as the service yard, landscaping and parking for 386 cars as well as highways improvements.

The project was handed over in July 2015 to Asda’s fit-out contractor with the new store opening in September 2015, creating over 300 jobs.
