Asda, Chatham Waters

73,000 sq ft Asda superstore, which forms part of the first phase of the £650 million regeneration scheme on land in Gillingham.

Russell WBHO worked closely with Peel’s project team to re-engineer the ground and feed into the store’s design, which enabled Russell WBHO to build it as effectively and efficiently as possible. The store helped to regenerate a brownfield site and is located at a key area of development fronting Pier Road.
