Following nominations from employees, Russell WBHO is donating to four charities instead of sending Christmas cards.
A total of £1,600 will be shared equally between Dementia UK, The Alzheimer’s Society, The Christie Charity, and Macmillan Cancer Support.
Each charity was chosen for reasons close to employees’ hearts.
Gareth Russell, Managing Director of Russell WBHO, said: “We’ve always donated to charity in lieu of sending Christmas cards and three years ago, asked our staff for their nominations. We’ve since heard very personal stories, which demonstrate the incredible work being carried out by charities locally and nationally.
“Like last year, we’ve decided to split the fund based on moving testimonials highlighting the positive impact of four different charities. Each one has directly supported our employees’ family members providing tremendous help during their battles with devastating diseases.”
