This year’s theme is #BuildTheFuture, so what better opportunity to highlight the fantastic group of trainees we have on our Building Student programme.
We’re celebrating #NationalApprenticeshipWeek2022.
This year’s theme is #BuildTheFuture, so what better opportunity to highlight the fantastic group of trainees we have on our Building Student programme.
The five-year Building Student Training Programme combines a fully-funded part-time construction degree at the University of Salford with on-the-job training with Russell WBHO.
Students undertake two years of rotations through all operational departments and experience Site Management, Engineering, Estimating, Health&Safety, Quantity Surveying, and Building Services.
They specialise from Year Three and qualify in Year Five with a degree and a professional position with one of the region’s largest contractors.
Along the way they make life-long friendships, enjoy team building and away days, and get to have a lot of fun.
We’ll be sharing stories from our apprentices and more about our programme all this week.
Read more about the training scheme here and find out what the programme is like first hand from recent graduate Sam Dickenson.
