Leisure Facility Construction Projects
Russell WBHO worked on revamping and extending customer and staff facilities at the Trafford Golf Centre for Peel Holdings. The challenge of this leisure facility construction project was to ensure that the driving range and golf shop remained open throughout the construction period.
A vital part of this leisure facility construction project was the coordination of operations. Communication was key during the project, with regular meetings with the managers of the driving range and golf shop being held on site, and regular coordination meetings. During those meetings, plans were implemented to allow for the maximum number of bays to stay open during the works, minimising the disruption as much as possible. By building close relationships with those working on site we successfully coordinated and met the challenge.
The works included:
Developer Property Alliance Group secured two pre-lets with a view to creating a 28,000 sq ft new build leisure facility, forming part of the wider redevelopment of the Cleveleys seafront. The dual wing leisure complex and stand-alone restaurant unit were designed to attract families with a Vue multi-screen cinema and Pizza Hut.
The leisure facility construction project involved:
The letting of the second unit went to Sub Zero ice rink, so Russell WBHO completed the fit out of the new facility with stadium seating and installation of a mezzanine floor.
