Each unit has a large service yard capable of accommodating sufficient numbers of HGVs for a unit of that size, with a full turning circle and HGV parking. Access is provided by 5m high sectional doors to accept large vehicles and unit 1 has the additional feature of a dock leveller to allow direct forklift loading into the back of a vehicle.
The construction consists of a steel portal frame with cold-rolled cladding rails, finished with a built up cladding and roofing system. There will be a power floated concrete floor slab to each unit and the external yards will consist of air-entrained concrete with a brushed finish.
The offices will be fitted out to a good standard with suspended ceilings, VRF air conditioning and heat recovery ventilation.
Each unit utilises siphonic rainwater drainage and attenuation tanks with petrol interceptors for storm water control.
