Manchester’s Russells Construction has been appointed to build the new £10m production and testing facility for international mining equipment manufacturer Joy Global. The contractor has been selected to deliver the 82,000 sq ft unit at Logistics North, the new industrial park near Bolton.

Russells delivers £1.3m refurb for Quorum

Russells Construction has handed over two industrial units at the Linkway Trading Estate, Grimshaw Lane in Middleton, after a seven-month contract. The pair, one 40,000 sq ft the other 10,000 sq ft, were refurbished for developer Quorum which has now launched them back to the market.

£5m of industrial new build from Russells Construction

Russells Construction has completed construction of two new build industrial schemes for developer Property Alliance Group. The projects, which total more than £5m, are the first speculative industrial builds the contractor has delivered since the recession, a welcome marker according to Russells Construction director Gareth Russell.

Baildon Business Park set to take off

Construction of the first three units at the new Baildon Business Park has begun. Developer Pendle Russells is building a state-of-the-art 28,000 sq ft facility for precision-engineering firm Produmax, a 15,000 sq ft unit for surgical equipment manufacturer Anetic Aid, and a 14,000 sq ft unit on a speculative basis. Russells Construction is the main contractor.
