A total transformation

Core completes

Core, formerly known as 30 Brown Street, has been unveiled following an £8million transformation.

The six-storey, 46,000 sq ft office block is soon to become home to co-working specialist Work.Life, which has taken 12,500 sq ft of space.

Russells Construction has undertaken a comprehensive refurbishment of the 1980s building, stripping it right back to shell before installing state-of-the-art services and a sleek new interior finish, encased in a smart glazed envelope.

Russells was appointed by project manager OBI on behalf of client Boultbee Brooks Real Estate.

Leading property news site Place North West was invited to tour the building and has profiled the project in a feature here.

Andrew Russell, Russells’ director, said: “We’re really pleased with the finished product, the building looks fantastic and is a total transformation from the 1980s brick building we started with. In fact it’s hard to remember what the original looked like ! Core stands proudly now, a landmark for this part of Manchester and fit-for-purpose for the businesses which will come to locate there.”
